Description
This article describes the process for logging users out of SAP Business One from within Business One or by using Microsoft SQL SQL Server Management Studio.
Steps
How to log users out from within SAP Business One:
Step 1: Open the "Connected Clients" window in SAP Business One under Modules>Administration>Utilities>Connected Clients (shown below)
2. In the "Connected Clients" window, select the user you wish to to disconnect, then click "Disconnect".
Optionally, prior to disconnecting a user you can send them a message in B1 by clicking "Send Message" to allow them to save anything they are working on before they are disconnected.
How to log users out of SAP Business One using Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio:
1. Open the "Activity Monitor" by clicking the icon in the toolbar.
2. Expand the Processes option, then select the Database that you want to end the SAP B1 Session on.
3. The "Host Name" column contains all of the computer names that are connected to the selected Database. Right-click on the the session that you wish to terminate and select "Kill Process". Repeat this for all instances of the sessions that you see until no more sessions are running with that computer name.
